All items purchased at www.EllaParadis.com are being shipped in accordance with a carrier's shipping contract. This means that the risk of loss and the title to such items is going to be passed to a purchaser upon our delivery to a shipping carrier. Once the shipping carrier has confirmed delivery, the package becomes the online shopper's responsibility. ELLA ONLINE LLC is not legally obligated to refund or replace lost or stolen packages. If you do not receive your shipment, we recommend you contact the shipping company directly to file a claim.
We are not responsible for packages delivered to the wrong address, due to misinformation given at the time of purchase. Please double check that all contact information is entered accurately before completing the transaction.
If a package is returned to us due to incorrect shipping address, we will contact the customer via email. If the customer provides a corrected shipping address, we will resend the package. The customer will be responsible for the re-shipping costs.
If a package is refused at the time of delivery, the customer will be responsible for the cost of shipping both to and from delivery address and a 10% restocking fee. Please purchase mindfully.
Please keep in mind that during the warm and hot summer months, there is a possibility that candy, and chocolate products will melt during shipping. Damage can include, but is not limited to, melted gummy candies and similar products. Please keep this in mind before ordering. If you have any doubt, do not purchase any products that may melt in hot temperatures. We consider these situations as damage during shipping and we DO NOT accept any returns or exchanges on any items damaged from heat and high temperatures during shipping, or after the products have been delivered at their final destination.
Discreet Shipping
We respect your privacy! Package contents and our website are not disclosed on box. All of our packages are either plain brown boxes or standard issued packaging from UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Occasionally we use opaque padded envelopes, but never for anything breakable or discernable. Return address is nondescript. Also, no catalogs will be mailed to your home.
Processing time
98% of the time orders are processed and shipped within 1 business day (in stock items only) during the business week. Your order will be processed and shipped same business day if made before 8 am CST. Keep in mind that weekends and holidays are not considered business days by Ella Paradis, or our shipping partners. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays will be processed the following business day. Your order may ship in more than one package. You will be notified of multiple shipments via an email shipment confirmation and all available tracking numbers will be provided to you.
UPS express shipping methods do not deliver on weekends. Also, UPS does not guarantee delivery for express methods around holidays, and in the case of bad weather. Please note that the shipping options you choose take effect on the day the item ships, not the day you order. For example, if you order an item on a Friday or a Saturday, the next business day (normally, with the exception of a Monday Holiday) would be Monday.
We are not responsible for delivery errors, especially if your address is incorrect, or not 100% complete.

Change of delivery address or canceling an order
We are unable to cancel an order or change the shipping address once the order's status is "Processed". Orders move very quickly through the warehouse system. Please contact us immediately via e-mail at contact@ellaparadis.com., however, keep in mind that it is very difficult to make changes or cancel and order especially once it has been in the system for 12 hours or more.

Note on international shipping
International shipments require customs paperwork and these shipments will take approximately 1-2 weeks from the shipping date to be delivered depending on customs clearance into your country. You will receive a tracking number once the order is shipped. Customers may want to check with local customs regulations to be aware of the laws within their country. All items that we sell on our site are legal in the USA, however if certain countries restrict these items for use or sale we cannot be held liable if these items are seized or confiscated by customs. We also are not held liable for any tariffs, import duties or international taxes that may be imposed outside the USA. On all international shipments once the shipment arrives into the destination country and customs received the package, the customs agents make all the final delivery arrangements.
